# Cookie policy

This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies Omne uses at omne.so and app.omne.so, and the choices you have. Omne is operated by NM Media LLC ("we", "us"), 1309 Coffeen Avenue STE 1200, Sheridan, Wyoming 82801, United States.

## What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Local storage does the same job in a different place. In this policy, "cookies" covers both.

All of Omne's own cookies are first-party: only omne.so or app.omne.so can read them. Omne uses no advertising cookies, and we do not sell or share your personal data for advertising.

## Your choices

The first time you visit, Omne asks whether you accept analytics and embedded media. You can accept all, reject all or choose each one, and rejecting is as easy as accepting. Strictly necessary cookies are always on, because Omne cannot work without them.

You can change your mind at any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page on omne.so, or in the account menu in the app.

**Where you are matters.** In the EU, EEA and Switzerland, nothing optional loads until you say yes, and if we cannot tell where you are, we treat you the same way. In the UK, analytics used only for statistics may run unless you turn it off, as UK law has allowed since February 2026, and embedded media waits for your yes. Everywhere else, both are on until you turn them off.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, you cannot sign in to Omne or check out.

## Analytics

Omne sets no analytics cookies. Product analytics in the app are not switched on yet. When they are, they will run through PostHog's EU cloud, follow your choice above and keep nothing in your browser.

## Embedded media

Videos in posts on our blog, and posts from other platforms that you open in Omne, can come from YouTube, Vimeo and other sites. Where embedded media is not allowed, Omne shows a Play button first, and the player loads only when you press it. Once a player loads, its site can set its own cookies under its own policies. For YouTube we use its privacy-enhanced mode where we can.

## Local storage

Some settings stay in your browser's local storage instead of a cookie. They stay on your device, and you can clear them in your browser settings.

On omne.so:

- your light or dark mode
- that you closed the bar at the top of the page, for a day
- the latest status of Omne's services, shown in the footer, for up to 40 minutes
- your country, for this visit only, so we ask about cookies the right way for where you are

In the app:

- your light or dark mode
- how you set up your screens, such as columns, sort order, layout, page size, panel widths, sounds and which panels are open
- the AI model and agent you picked in Ask AI
- whether amounts are hidden in Finance
- the page to open after you sign in

## Websites that use Omne's analytics

If a creator adds Omne's analytics to their own website, it can keep three cookies on that website: omne_v tells visits apart (400 days), omne_s keeps the state of a visit (30 minutes) and omne_oc remembers the Omne link a visitor came from (90 days). Each creator can run it without cookies, or only after their visitors agree. Those cookies belong to that website, and its owner's cookie policy applies there.

## Merch on Fourthwall

Merch on omne.so is sold through Fourthwall, which runs the checkout. Fourthwall's checkout page sets its own cookies, under Fourthwall's cookie and privacy policies.

## Changes to this policy

We update this policy when the cookies Omne uses change. The date under the title shows when it last changed.
