# Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: 2026-11-03

This policy sets out what Omne may and may not be used for. It is part of our [Terms of Service](https://omne.so/hi/kanuni/niyam-aur-shartein), in place of the rules that were written into the Terms' section "Acceptable use".

## Scope

It applies to you, to the members of your workspaces, and to any agent or automation acting for any of you, in Omne's website, app, desktop and mobile apps, browser extension and API. A workspace's owner is responsible for its members' use of Omne, as the Terms say.

## Prohibited content

- Content that breaks the law, including any content that sexually exploits children.
- Content you have no right to use, or that infringes anyone's copyright, trademark or other rights.
- Content that harasses or threatens anyone.

## Prohibited activities

- Spam: messages people did not ask for, or messaging people who have unsubscribed.
- Fraud, or deceiving people in any other way.
- Spreading malware, or links meant to trick people into harm.
- Impersonation: pretending to be someone else, or making a message or payment look as if it comes from someone it does not.
- Scraping or collecting data beyond Omne's limits, or in ways a platform's own rules forbid.
- Trying to break into Omne or into anyone else's account or workspace, overloading Omne, or getting around its limits.
- Copying Omne, or using it to build a competing product.

## AI and agent rules

- You are responsible for what you ask Omne's AI features and agents to do, and for checking what they produce before you rely on it or publish it.
- An agent acts only through the tools and accounts you give it, and anything that changes something waits for your yes. Do not try to get around those approvals.
- Do not use AI features or agents to make or send anything this policy forbids, or to break the rules of the AI provider you connect.

## Finance

Connect only your own bank and money accounts, or accounts you are allowed to act for, such as your company's.

## Security research

Good-faith security research is welcome under our [vulnerability disclosure policy](https://omne.so/hi/kanuni/vulnerability-disclosure). Anything outside it, such as reaching other people's data, breaks this policy.

## Fair use

Omne sets limits so that it stays fast and fair for everyone, such as how many stock searches you can run in a minute and how many new creators a workspace can bring into Discover in a day. Do not run extra accounts or workspaces to get around a limit.

## Your own customers and members

When you keep other people's data in Omne, such as your subscribers, buyers or community members, you are responsible for having the right to collect and use it, for honouring their choices, such as unsubscribing, and for the messages you send them.

## Enforcement

We may remove content, or suspend or end an account, that breaks this policy, as our [Terms of Service](https://omne.so/hi/kanuni/niyam-aur-shartein) allow.

## Reporting abuse

Email support@omne.so with what you saw and where; a link helps. For copyright, use our [DMCA policy](https://omne.so/hi/kanuni/dmca). For a security weakness, follow our [vulnerability disclosure policy](https://omne.so/hi/kanuni/vulnerability-disclosure).

## Changes

We will update this page when the rules change, change the date at the top, and tell you by email before any significant change takes effect.
