# DMCA policy

Last updated: 2026-11-04

We respect the work of creators, and we expect everyone who uses Omne to do the same. This policy explains how copyright owners can ask us to remove material on Omne they believe infringes their copyright, and how people whose material was removed can respond. Omne is operated by NM Media LLC ("we", "us"), 1309 Coffeen Avenue STE 1200, Sheridan, Wyoming 82801, United States.

It follows the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), a United States law, and covers omne.so, app.omne.so and everything people publish with Omne, such as stores and their products, posts, comments, profiles and files.

This page is not legal advice. If you are unsure about your rights, please talk to a lawyer before you send a notice.

## Before you send a notice

A takedown notice is a legal claim with real consequences for the person whose material is removed. Before you send one:

- check that the use is really not allowed, for example as fair use or under a license
- try contacting the person who posted it, which often solves the problem faster
- make sure a person, not an automated bot, reviews every notice sent on your behalf

**You must swear to your notice under penalty of perjury.** Knowingly making a false claim can make you liable for damages, including our costs and legal fees, under Section 512(f) of the DMCA.

## How to send a takedown notice

Email your notice to support@omne.so, with the text in the body of the email. Attachments are fine, but plain text is handled fastest. Your notice must include:

- your physical or electronic signature (typing your full name is enough), as the copyright owner or someone authorized to act for them
- the copyrighted work you believe was infringed, such as a link to the original or a clear description
- the material you believe infringes it, with the exact link or enough detail for us to find it on Omne
- your name, postal address, phone number and email
- a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law
- a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for them

Notices missing any of these may not be valid, and we may ask you to complete them.

## Our designated agent

You can also send notices by post to our designated agent. Post takes longer than email.

## What happens next

When we receive a valid notice, we remove or disable access to the material and tell the person or workspace that published it. We may send them a copy of your notice, including your name and contact details, so they can respond.

We only check that a notice or counter-notice meets the requirements of the law. Deciding whether a claim is right is up to the people involved and, if needed, the courts.

## How to send a counter-notice

If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake, or that you have the right to use it, you can send a counter-notice to support@omne.so or to our designated agent. It must include:

- your physical or electronic signature
- the material that was removed and where it appeared before it was removed
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe in good faith the material was removed by mistake or misidentification
- your name, postal address and phone number
- a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district where your address is, or, if your address is outside the United States, any judicial district in which we may be found, and that you will accept service of legal papers from the person who sent the original notice or their agent

**Only send a counter-notice if you are sure.** False statements in a counter-notice carry the same penalties as false notices.

## After a counter-notice

We send a copy of your counter-notice to the person who sent the original notice.

If they do not tell us within 10 business days that they have filed a court action to stop the infringement, we restore the material within 10 to 14 business days after we received your counter-notice.

## Repeat infringers

In appropriate circumstances, we suspend or end the accounts and workspaces of people who repeatedly infringe copyright, as our [Terms of Service](https://omne.so/ko/beopjeok-goji/iyong-yakgwan) and [Acceptable Use Policy](https://omne.so/ko/beopjeok-goji/acceptable-use) allow.
