This policy explains what personal data Omne collects, why, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. Omne is operated by NM Media LLC ("we", "us"), 1309 Coffeen Avenue STE 1200, Sheridan, Wyoming 82801, United States.

Two roles

For your account, we decide how data is used. Your name, email, sign-in and billing details, and how you use Omne: we are responsible for these under this policy.

For your workspace's content, you decide. The posts, documents, files, contacts, subscribers and buyers you keep in Omne belong to you. We process them only to run Omne for you, on your instructions. If you need a data processing agreement for this, email support@omne.so.

What we collect

  • Account details: your name, email address, profile picture, and your workspaces and their members.
  • Sign-in: a 6-digit code we email you, or your Google or other account if you sign in with it. Omne has no passwords.
  • Your content: everything you create, upload or save in your workspaces.
  • Accounts you connect: when you connect a platform such as Instagram, YouTube or Stripe, the data that platform shares with us for the feature you use, and the keys that let Omne act for you.
  • Payments: handled by Stripe. We receive your plan, billing name, email and the last digits of your card; we never see or store full card numbers.
  • Use of Omne: pages and features used, device and browser type, IP address and error reports, to keep Omne working and secure.

How we use it

To provide Omne and its features, keep your account secure, take payments, send emails about your account (sign-in codes, receipts, important changes), answer support requests, fix problems, and improve Omne. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not show ads.

Google and YouTube

When you sign in with Google, Google tells Omne your name, email address and profile picture, and nothing more.

When you connect a Google service, Omne asks Google only for what that feature needs, and uses it only to show you your own data or to do what you ask:

  • YouTube: Omne uses YouTube API Services. It reads your channel's playlists and its numbers, uploads the episodes you choose to publish, and adds them to your show's podcast playlist. It doesn't store your YouTube numbers: it reads them from YouTube each time you look. It keeps your chosen channel and playlist, and the ids of the videos it uploaded for you.
  • Google Drive: only the files you pick, or that Omne creates for you.
  • Google Photos: only the photos and videos you pick.
  • Google Analytics, Search Console, Google Ads, Business Profile and Tag Manager: your own reports, read to show them to you.
  • Gemini: your own Gemini account, for the Omne AI chats and agents you run with it.

Omne's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We never use Google user data for advertising and never sell it, and people at Omne don't read it unless you ask us to, it's needed for security, or the law requires it.

Google's Privacy Policy applies to your data at Google. You can disconnect a Google service in Omne at any time, or remove Omne's access in your Google account's permissions. When you disconnect, Omne deletes that connection's keys.

AI features

Some features use artificial intelligence. When they are live, the content you send to them is processed by the AI provider listed on our Subprocessors page, only to answer your request. We do not allow these providers to train their models on your content.

Who we share it with

  • Our subprocessors, the companies that help us run Omne, listed with what each does on our Subprocessors page.
  • Platforms you connect, when you ask Omne to act there, such as publishing a post.
  • Authorities, when the law requires it, or to protect our users or Omne from harm. We check every request from a public authority is lawful before answering it, challenge any we consider unlawful, disclose only the minimum the request requires, and keep a record of each request, our answer and the legal reasoning behind it.
  • A buyer of our business, if Omne is sold or merged, under this policy.

Where data is kept

Omne's servers and database are in Germany, in the EU. Some subprocessors are in the United States or run worldwide networks. When data leaves the EU, EEA, UK or Switzerland, it is protected by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and content while your account is open. When you delete content, a workspace or your account, we delete it from Omne, and it leaves our backups as they are replaced. We keep billing records as long as tax law requires.

Security

Data travels encrypted between you and Omne, the keys to any account you connect are stored encrypted, access is limited to the people who need it to run Omne, and every workspace's data is kept apart from every other's.

Your choices and rights

You can view, change, export or delete your content and account in Omne, or ask us to. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access, correct, delete or move your data, to object to or limit how we use it, and to complain to your data protection authority. Email support@omne.so; we answer within 30 days.

Cookies

Omne uses only the cookies and browser storage it needs to work: keeping you signed in, remembering which way you last signed in, and remembering your language and theme. We use no advertising cookies.

Children

Omne is not for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We will update this page when our practices change, change the date at the top, and tell you by email before any significant change takes effect.

Subprocessors

The companies that process personal data for Omne, what each one receives and where, are listed on our Subprocessors page. Each one processes it only to provide its part of Omne, under a written agreement that requires it to protect that data, and we add a new one there at least 30 days before it starts.

Signing in with another account

If you sign in with Google, GitHub, LinkedIn, Facebook, Discord or Twitch, that service tells Omne your name, email address and profile picture, and nothing more. It does so under its own terms and privacy policy, as your choice; it is not one of Omne's subprocessors. You can always sign in with a code to your email instead.

Services you connect yourself

When you connect an account on another platform (Instagram, YouTube, Stripe and others), Omne exchanges data with that platform on your behalf. Those platforms process the data under their own terms and privacy policies, as your choice, and are not Omne's subprocessors.

Public content

Omne reads public information, such as public posts, music charts and stock photos and videos, from public sources and their providers. We send these services no personal data about you.
