The Mac and Windows app
Omne's desktop app opens your workspace in its own window on Mac and Windows. It is built but there is no download yet.
SoonThis part of Omne isn't open yet. This page says what's planned, and it can still change.
The desktop app is built and not released yet, so there is nothing to download today. Use Omne in your browser at app.omne.so meanwhile.
What it is
The app opens Omne in a window of its own, on Mac and on Windows. Because it shows the live site, every new feature is in it as soon as it is on the web, and only the window itself needs updating. The window won't go narrower than 1024 pixels. On a Mac, the window buttons sit in the sidebar's top row.
What is still missing
Before other people can install it, it needs signing so the computer accepts the installer and its updates. Offline writing and native notifications are planned for it, not built.
For the browser tool that saves posts, see the extension, which works with the web app.
