How to set up your storefront page
Write your store's name and About line, add a picture, and preview the page your buyers will see. Active products are added automatically.
Your storefront is one page with the link for your bio. Active products are added to it automatically, so you only write the words at the top. You edit it under Store, Storefront, in the Your page section.
Edit the page
- Click Edit page. A panel opens with a preview beside the form.
- Fill in Store name. If you leave your workspace name, it is used.
- Write About, a line or two at the top of the page, such as what you help people do.
- Enter a Picture address, a web address that starts with https://. If it doesn't, Omne says "The picture's address starts with https://."
- Check the Preview, then click Save.
Nothing changes for visitors until you save. If you don't add a picture, the page shows the first letter of your store name.
What the page shows
The preview shows your name, your About line and up to six of your active products, each with its type, its cover and its price. A product that is a draft or archived doesn't appear, so set a product to Active when you want it listed. Testimonials you set to Shown are meant to appear on the page too. See testimonials.
Open and publish
The Open button and Publish storefront are marked as coming soon, because the public page at omne.store isn't live yet. Until then the preview in the panel is how you see it. Page views start counting once the storefront is live.
Needed to publish
The Support email row under Emails shows Needed to publish until you add an address. See store settings.
Your address
The page will live at omne.store with your handle after it. See claim your handle. Putting the page on your own domain is marked as coming soon.
