The sign-in code did not arrive
What to check when Omne's 6-digit sign-in code does not reach your inbox, including invite-only and too many requests.
Most often the email is in spam, the address has a typo, or the address has not been invited. Work down this list.
1. Look for the right email
The subject starts with the code: "482913 is your Omne login code". It comes from notifications@mail.omne.so. Check spam, promotions and any quarantine your company mail uses. Add the sender to your contacts.
2. Check the address on the second screen
After you click Continue, the page says "We sent a 6-digit code to" followed by your address. If it is wrong, click Use another email and try again.
3. Check that you were told the address is allowed
While Omne is in private beta, an address that has no invitation gets no code. Omne tells you at once with "Omne is invite-only for now. Ask the person who invited you to add this address." See Omne says it is invite-only.
4. Wait for the resend timer
The button reads "Resend code in" and a countdown of 30 seconds. When it becomes Resend code, click it. The new code is the one to use.
5. Too many codes
Omne sends at most 6 codes to one address every 10 minutes. After that you see "Too many codes for this address. Try again later." Wait about 10 minutes, then ask for one new code.
6. A message that says "That didn't go through"
The page showed "That didn't go through. Try again." Omne could not send the request. Check your connection and try again.
Another way in
If your account uses Google, GitHub, LinkedIn, Facebook, Discord or Twitch, use that button. See Sign-in with a provider does not work.
Still stuck
Write to contact support from another address and give the one that is not getting codes.
