The Home screen
What Home shows when a workspace opens, how its four quick starts and sections work, and how to turn sections on, off or reorder them.
Home is the first screen of a workspace. It greets you by your first name, such as Good evening, Ada, and shows what is next and what you made lately. Everything on it comes from the workspace you are in, and every card opens the thing itself. Open it from Home at the top of the sidebar.
The four quick starts
The row at the top has four buttons.
| Button | What it does |
|---|---|
| Capture an idea | Makes a card for a quick thought or note in the Library and opens it |
| Start a document | Makes a doc for something longer and opens it |
| Ask AI | Opens Ask AI, to think something through |
| Start a table | Makes a table in the Library and opens it |
On a phone these become a row of four small tiles named Capture, Document, Ask AI and Table. To read about the three Library items, see Docs, cards and tables. For the chat, see What Ask AI is and how to start a chat.
The sections
Below the quick starts, Home is made of sections. Some stay out of the way until they have something to show, so a new workspace looks sparse on purpose.

When there is nothing to show, a section says so. This week reads "Nothing is scheduled for the next 7 days. Plan a post in the Planner and it shows here." Recents reads "What you make or save in the Library shows here, newest first." Reading reads "Posts and links you save land here, ready to read on any device."
Your lists and Upcoming calls are off to begin with. Switch them on in Edit Home. Analytics and Sales show numbers that are already in your workspace. See Read your analytics and Posting streak.
Edit Home
Edit Home lets you choose which sections you see and in what order.
Reset to default puts the sections back as they came. The choice belongs to your account, so Home looks the same in every workspace and on your phone.
Start from the top Press Capture an idea when a thought comes while you are working. It saves to the Library at once, and you can tidy it later with a board or a tag. See Organise the Library with boards.
