Leave a workspace
How to remove yourself from an Omne workspace, and why the only owner cannot leave until another owner exists.
Open Settings, then Workspace or Members, scroll to Workspace access and click Leave workspace. You lose access to everything in it, and someone can invite you back.
Steps
- Open Settings from the workspace menu.
- In Workspace or Members, find the card Workspace access at the foot.
- Click Leave workspace.
- Confirm "Leave" followed by the workspace name. The warning says you will lose access to everything in it.
Omne then opens another of your workspaces.
If the button is greyed out
The description reads "You are the only owner of this workspace. Make another member an owner before leaving." Go to Members, change someone's role to Owner, then leave. If nobody else is in the workspace, you can delete it instead. See Delete a workspace.
Your things
What you made stays with the workspace. Sync sources you added stop working after you leave.
