Library

Pin, tag, archive and delete items

Keep the Library tidy: pin what you need on top, rename and tag items, and the difference between Archive, Move to trash and Delete.

Every item has a menu with the actions for tidying it: pin, rename, tag, add to a board, archive, move to trash and delete. Open it by right-clicking an item, or by pressing the three dots on its card. Inside an open doc, the same actions are under More.

Pin and rename

Pin keeps an item at the top of the list, and Unpin lets it fall back to its place by date. Rename changes the item's title. Highlights can't be renamed, because their text is their title.

Tags

In an open doc, choose More and then Tags, and tick the tags you want. The tags are the workspace's, made in Settings under Workspace in Tags, so everyone uses the same names and colours. If the list says there are no tags yet, make some there first. Items that arrive from a sync source can carry tags of their own, such as a bookmark folder name.

Archive, trash and delete

ActionWhat happens
ArchiveTakes the item out of the Library's lists. It is kept
Move to trashTakes the item out of the Library's lists. It is kept
DeleteRemoves the item for good, with its board placements and the highlights taken from it

There is no archive screen yet The Library has no view for browsing archived or trashed items, so use Archive and Move to trash only when you are sure you don't need to see the item again. Delete asks you to confirm in an open doc and can't be undone.

Deleting something that came from a sync source doesn't bring it back on the next sync. Sources remember what they already brought in.
