Templates
Browse content templates in Omne, filter them by platform, format and type, open one to read why it works, and copy it to fill in.
Templates are content formats that work, ready to fill in, such as a hook, a thread or a carousel outline. The Templates screen lists them in one place so you can find a format, read how it is built and copy it into your own post. Open it from Templates under Create in the sidebar.
What the list holds
The list shows the shared library of templates and any templates that belong to your workspace. Each template is a card with these parts:
| Part | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Platform and format | Where the template goes and what it is there, such as a post or a thread |
| Title | The template's name |
| Description | A line or two about what the template is for |
| Types | Small tags for what kind of content it is |
| Words | How many words the template runs to |
A line above the cards counts what you can see, such as 12 templates, and adds the words you searched for when you type in the search box.
Search and filter
The search box reads Search templates, hooks, creators…. Every word you type has to appear somewhere on a card, in its title, description, types, formats, platforms, tags or the person who inspired it.
The filter button beside it opens a panel with these groups:
| Group | What it narrows by |
|---|---|
| Platforms | The platform a template is written for |
| Format | The shape on that platform, such as a post or a thread |
| Type | The kind of content |
| Inspired by | The person whose approach a template follows |
| Sort by | Featured, Newest, Recently updated, Name (A-Z) or Name (Z-A) |
Each option shows how many templates carry it. The groups combine, so every one you add leaves fewer templates. Clear filters resets them in one click.
Open a template
Click a card to open the template in a window on top of the page. The window shows the template's text, and a template that has several parts gives each part its own copy button. When the template has them, you also see:
- Filled-in example, the template with real words in it.
- Why it works, a short explanation of what makes the format land.
- Pro tips, extra advice for using it.
The address changes to include the template's name, so you can copy it from your browser and send it. Opening that address reopens the same template.
Copy a template or ask an AI about it
The three-dot menu on a card and in an open template has these items:
| Item | What it does |
|---|---|
| Open in pane | Moves the template into a pane beside the page, so the list stays in view |
| Copy template | Copies the template's text without its labels. A thread reads Copy whole thread |
| Ask AI about this template | Lists AI apps. Choosing one opens it with the template and a request to help you write a post |
Asking an AI app sends the template's text to that app from your browser, and Omne does not send it for you.
Make it yours Open Why it works first, then write your own version with your own example. A template gives the shape, and the words that make a post worth reading come from you.
If nothing matches
If a search or filter leaves nothing, the list says that no template matches yet. Clear the filters, or search for a shorter word. To keep a template for later, copy it into a doc. See Docs, cards and tables.
