Emails Omne sends you

Which emails Omne sends to your own address, such as sign-in codes, and how to find them if they are missing.

Omne emails you when your account needs it. This article is about those emails, and not about the email you will send to your own subscribers.

Sign-in codes

When you ask to log in, Omne sends a 6-digit code. The subject starts with the code, in the form "482913 is your Omne login code", so a phone notification shows it even if the end is cut off. The email also has a Log in to Omne button. The code and the button work once, for 10 minutes.

Other emails

Omne has written emails for workspace invitations, receipts, refunds, failed or expiring card payments, and sale alerts. Today only sign-in codes are sent to you. Invitation emails are written but not sent: when you invite someone, you copy a link and send it yourself. See Invite people to a workspace. Billing is not live, so no receipts go out.

Where they come from

Account emails come from notifications@mail.omne.so. Emails about money will come from receipts@mail.omne.so. Replies to either reach Omne's support. Add both to your contacts or safe senders if you use a filter.

Choose what Omne may email

Open Settings, then Notifications. There are two switches: Product updates and Newsletter and offers. Click Save email preferences. Sign-in codes, receipts and anything about your account always arrive and have no switch.

Today these two choices are stored in this browser only, and nothing is sent anywhere. Setting them on another device or browser has to be done again.

If a code does not arrive

See The sign-in code did not arrive.
