What short links are and how omne.to works
Omne's link tracker makes short links on omne.to with QR codes and click analytics. It is built, and it hasn't been launched yet.
A short link is a brief web address, such as omne.to/your-name/launch, that sends people to a longer page and counts each click. Omne's link tracker makes them, draws a QR code for each, and shows where the clicks came from. It is built and in the app, and it hasn't been launched, so treat the details as a preview of the beta.
What you get
- Short addresses. On omne.to, your links go under your own link name, so nobody can take your words.
- A QR code for every link, which you can download as a PNG or SVG.
- A share card. The title, line and picture people see when the link is posted. Omne fills them in from the page you link to, and you can change them.
- Click analytics. Clicks by day, link, country, device, referrer and more. See link analytics.
- Tags, expiry and campaign parameters. See UTM parameters and link expiration.
- Your own domain on a paid plan. See add your own link domain.
Where to find it
In your workspace, open Store and then Links. The pages are All links, Analytics, Events and Domains.
Privacy
The tracker sets no cookie and stores no visitor addresses. It counts a visitor as a hash that changes every day. See what counts as a click.
What isn't built yet
Open in app, conversion and sale tracking, a public API, webhooks and A/B tests are not in Omne yet. Check open in app for what that one will do. Plan limits are still being decided. See link plans and limits.
