Sign-in with a provider does not work
What to do when Continue with Google, GitHub, LinkedIn, Facebook, Discord or Twitch fails or says it is not connected.
The sign-in page offers Continue with Google, GitHub, LinkedIn, Facebook, Discord and Twitch. Each opens a small window over the page. Here is what its messages mean.
"{Provider} isn't connected yet"
For example "GitHub isn't connected yet." That provider has not been switched on for Omne yet. Use the email code, or another provider.
The window did not open
Browsers block pop-ups opened after a delay. If it is blocked, Omne repeats the sign-in in the same tab. Allow pop-ups for app.omne.so if you prefer the window.
You closed or cancelled it
Nothing is shown. Click the button again.
"That didn't go through. Try again."
The provider returned with an error. Try again, or use the email code.
"Omne is invite-only for now"
Your provider's address is not on the list. During the beta the address your provider returns must be invited. See Omne says it is invite-only.
Account changes
The page marks the way that last worked on this device with a Last used label. Use that one if you are unsure.
Inside the phone app
Inside Omne's phone app only the email code works for now, and the provider buttons are hidden, because providers refuse sign-in inside an app's web view.

Continue with SAML SSO shows "SAML SSO comes with the Enterprise plan." See Enterprise plan.
