How to write, edit and pin a community post
Write a post with a title, body, one topic, a cover and an optional poll. Edit or delete it later, copy its link, and sort the feed.
You write a post from the Feed tab. Give it a title and a body, choose a topic, and click Publish.
Write a post
- Open the community and the Feed tab, then start a new post.
- Type a Title.
- Write the body of the post.
- Click Choose a topic and pick one. A post goes under one topic.
- Optionally click Add cover to give it a picture, or Add a poll. See react, comment and vote.
- Click Publish.
A topic can be limited to the community's hosts. Topics you can't post in aren't offered to you. If you don't pick a topic, the post goes under the first open one.
Edit or delete your post
Open the menu on your post. Edit post reopens the editor, and Save changes saves it. Delete post removes it after you confirm.
Share it
Copy post link copies the post's own address, which anyone signed in can open.
Pin a post
Hosts can use Pin post, and a pinned post shows Pinned.
Find posts
The feed can be sorted by Latest, New activity, Most likes, Most comments or Oldest. Choose a topic from the list to see only that topic. The sort and topic stay in the page address.
Limits
A title can be up to 200 characters, and a body up to 40,000. You can put a YouTube or Vimeo link in a post, but you can't upload a video yet.
