Build an email sequence
How to set up a series of emails that go out one after another, such as a welcome series, and what is not running yet.
SoonThis part of Omne isn't open yet. This page says what's planned, and it can still change.
A sequence is a series of emails that go out by themselves, each a set number of days after the one before. A welcome series, a course delivered by email and a follow-up after a purchase are typical examples. You can build sequences today. The Turn on button shows Coming soon, so none of them runs yet.
Create a sequence
- Open Email, then Sequences.
- Click New sequence.
- Give it a Name, for example "Welcome series".
- Under Starts when, choose what begins it: Someone joins the list, A tag is added, Someone buys or A form is sent. If you pick A tag is added, a Tag field appears for the tag to watch.
- Under Emails, set the first email. Each email has a number of days, a subject and a body. The first reads "days after it starts" and later ones read "days after the one before".
- Click + Email to add more.
- Click Save draft.
The list
Each row shows the sequence, what it Starts when, how many Emails it holds and its Status: Draft, On or Paused. Every sequence is a draft today.
Editing a sequence that is running
The panel says that changes reach people who have not had that email yet. Someone who already received an email does not get it again.
Plan
Sequences are planned for Pro and above. Creator includes broadcasts and newsletters only. See Omne plans compared.
