Add a creator or a brand

Steps

1. Open Creators for a person, or Brands for a company, show or page.
2. Paste the profile link into the search box. The hint reads Search creators, or paste a link to add one…, or the same for brands.
3. Choose Add. The line under the box reads Adding… reading the post, its numbers and its text.
4. When it finishes you see Added to Creators: or Added to Brands: and the account's name. If it was already there, the message says Already in.

Use the profile's own link, not a link to one of its posts. A post link adds that single post instead of the account. See Add a post, a creator or an ad for that.

Which page it lands on

The page you paste on decides whether the account is a creator or a brand, with one exception: a LinkedIn company page is always a brand. If the account lands on the other page, Discover takes you to it.

What happens next

A new account starts as pending. It shows only to your workspace, which also follows it, while Omne reads its posts in the background. Once it is read, it becomes public and every workspace sees it. Adding something that is already in the catalogue just starts your workspace following it.

Common failures

• The profile didn't come back with a photo, followers or bio. The link may be wrong or the profile private. Check the link opens a public profile.
• Only owners and admins can change Discover. Ask an owner or admin to add it.
• Could not add: with a reason. The platform did not give Omne what it needed. Try again later.
