AI features and your content

What happens to your content when you use AI in Omne, who processes it, and what changes when you connect your own provider.

When you use an AI feature, the content you send to it goes to an AI provider only to answer your request. Omne does not allow those providers to train their models on your content.

What the policy says

The privacy policy says that AI features process the content you send to them with the provider listed on its Subprocessors page, only to answer your request. It adds that these providers are not allowed to train on your content. The policy words it as applying when those features are live.

Your own AI accounts

In Settings, AI providers you can connect providers of your own. Your key is checked, kept encrypted and never shown again. Content you send through your own account goes to that provider under its own terms, and its use is billed by the provider. Read that provider's terms before using it for anything sensitive.

Your agents

You can also connect an agent that runs on your own computer. The setting sits in the same place, AI providers.

Check the output

The terms remind you that what AI produces can be wrong, incomplete or similar to what others receive. Check it before you rely on it or publish it.

Credits

Using Omne's own AI is meant to use AI credits. See How AI credits work.
