Send email from your own domain

What sending from your own domain will mean in Omne, which plans include it, and what you can see about it today.

SoonThis part of Omne isn't open yet. This page says what's planned, and it can still change.

Sending from your own domain means your emails arrive as you, from an address on your website's domain, instead of from Omne's. This is planned and not available yet. The Verify a domain button shows Coming soon in two places.

Where you will see it

Open Email, then Settings, and look at the Your own address panel. The same message appears in Settings, Domains, on the Email domains tab, under the heading Send from your own domain.

What the plan says

Once a domain is verified, emails go out from it, so they land in the inbox and carry your name. You verify a domain by adding records at the company that manages it. Omne is planned to guide you through that and to check the records for you.

Until you connect a domain, email goes out in your name from Omne's sending domain, and replies come to you.

Which plans

The pricing page lists sending from your own domain, with store pages on your domain, as Pro and above, and marks it Soon. Free and Creator send from Omne's domain only.

What to do now

Nothing is needed. Fill in your sender details so they are ready: see Email settings. Choose a subdomain you are happy to dedicate to email if you can, because that is the safer shape for a sending domain.

Separate from your link domains Domains also has a Links tab for short-link domains. That is a different feature and is not affected by email domain verification.
