Discover

Quick views in Discover

Quick views are one-click presets in Discover that set the filters and the order for you, such as Viral now, Breakouts and Hidden gems.

A quick view is a ready-made combination of filters and sort order. Click one and Discover sets everything for you, and click it again to clear it. They save you from opening the filter for the questions people ask most often.

Where to find them

The quick views are in a row of buttons above the posts, and they are the first group in the filter under Quick views. In both places the buttons do the same thing. Hover over one to read its short note.

The six views for posts

ViewWhat it shows
Viral nowThis week's posts that beat their creator's usual, with the biggest first.
BreakoutsPosts at 10× their creator's usual or more.
Hidden gemsAccounts under 100K followers with a post at 5× their usual or more.
Top performersEach creator's top 1% of posts.
All-time greatsThe most viewed posts, from any time.
Just addedPosts added to Discover in the last week, newest first.

Each view changes the same settings you can set by hand, so after clicking one you can still adjust the filter.

Quick views on other pages

Creators and Brands have their own rows, and the Ads page has another. They work the same way.

  • Creators and Brands: Rising stars (under 100K followers with 10 or more outlier posts), Biggest, Most outliers (50 or more posts past their usual), Best posts (a post at 50× their usual or more) and Verified.
  • Ads: Long-runners, Most tested, Started this month and Video ads. See Discover ads.
  • A creator's own page: Their best, Breakouts and Newest, among others.

Combine a view with a filter

A view is a starting point. To see Hidden gems on one platform only, click Hidden gems and then choose the platform in the filter. To see breakouts about one subject, click Breakouts and pick a topic. Counts in the filter update for whatever you have set.

A view that returns nothing If a view returns no posts, a filter you set earlier is probably still on. Click Clear filters, then click the view again.
