Create a signup form

Create a form

1. In the sidebar, open Email, then Signup forms.
2. Click New signup form.
3. Give it a Name, such as "Newsletter signup". Only you see the name.
4. Turn on Name field if you want to ask for a first name as well. The email address is always required.
5. Under Tags for everyone who signs up, add one or more tags.
6. Write the Thank-you words people see after signing up, or enter a web address under Or send them to to send them to another page instead. The address must start with https://.
7. Set Status and click Add form.

The three statuses

Draft means you are still working on the form. Live means the form is meant to accept signups. Closed means it no longer takes signups. The form's row in the list shows its status next to its name, the fields it asks for and its tags.

Edit or delete a form

Click a row to open it, change what you need and click Save. Changes show wherever the form is placed. Delete removes the form after you confirm. Subscribers who already joined through it stay on your list.

What is missing

The Embed code button shows Coming soon, so there is no way yet to put the form on your storefront or another website from this page. Sending is not on either, which means a confirmation email cannot go out. See How email works in Omne for the full picture.
