How to disconnect, reconnect or remove a connected account
Disconnect an account from its card in Integrations, reconnect one that needs signing in again, and take Omne's access away on the service's own side.
Every connected account has a menu in its card. From it you can reconnect the account or disconnect it, and you can always take Omne's access away on the service's own side as well.
Reconnect
A sign-in can lapse, or you can revoke it on the service. The card then shows Needs reconnecting, and Integrations puts the card under Needs you on the Connected tab. A red dot marks it.
- Open Settings, then Integrations.
- Open the card and find the account under Accounts.
- Open its menu and choose Reconnect.
- Sign in again on the service's page.
Ask AI shows the same state: a tool from that account fails and says it needs reconnecting in Integrations.
Disconnect
- Open the card and find the account under Accounts.
- Open its menu and choose Disconnect, or Remove if the account was imported and never fully connected.
- Confirm.
Omne revokes access at the service where it can, and wipes what it fetched. For Google, it revokes only when no other connection of yours uses the same Google client for that account. WordPress sites connected with a site approval have their application password deleted on the site. The key or token Omne held is deleted from Omne.
Take access away on the service
After at least one account is connected, some cards show a link, Manage Omne's access in followed by the service's name. It opens the page on the service where authorized apps are listed. Google's, for example, is the connections page of your Google Account. Removing Omne there ends access even if Omne is not reachable.
What happens to your content
Posts you published through a connected account remain on the platform. Disconnecting stops Omne from acting on the account and removes the data Omne fetched. Items you saved in your Library stay in your Library.
AI provider and agent connections
Providers and agents have their own removal. A provider is removed in AI providers, and its key is deleted from Omne. For OpenRouter the key also stays in your OpenRouter account until you delete it there. See How to connect your own AI account and How to connect an agent step by step.
Rotating a key
For keyed services, make a new key on the service, then reconnect in Omne with the new key, and delete the old key on the service.
