What you can set up in your store today
Omne's store is in private beta. See what you can set up now, such as products, prices and coupons, and what can't be bought yet.
You can set up most of your store in Omne today, but nobody can buy from it yet, because checkout hasn't opened. Everything you build now stays in your workspace and is there when checkout opens.
What you can do now
Open Store in the sidebar of your workspace. These parts work today:
- Add products of every type, with a price, a compare-at price and other ways to pay. See create a product.
- Connect your own Stripe account. See connect Stripe.
- Claim your store handle and write your store page. See the storefront page.
- Make coupon codes and timed sales. See coupons and promotions.
- Keep a list of customers, subscribers and testimonials by hand.
- Build forms, quizzes and surveys, and add affiliate partners.
- Record a sale you made outside the store, so your numbers include it.
- Create and manage short links with click analytics. See the links collection.
What can't be bought or used yet
- Checkout. Nobody can pay for a product through Omne yet, and nothing is charged. Each product panel shows Checkout link marked as coming soon.
- Your public store page. The Open button on the Storefront page and the Publish storefront button are marked as coming soon, and page views are counted once the storefront is live.
- Your own domain for the store. This is marked as coming soon on the Storefront page.
- Paid questions, course questions, Auto-DM and booking. The screens exist and say what they will do, and the actions on them are marked as coming soon.
- Communities as a product. The Communities page in the store is a placeholder for now.
How it will work when checkout opens
You connect your own Stripe account, and each sale is charged directly on it. Omne never holds your money, and Stripe pays out to your bank. Because the charge is yours, your customers, refunds and disputes are yours as well. The fee Omne takes depends on your plan, and the fees article has the details.
Keep your current store for now
If you sell today, plan on keeping your current store and checkout until Omne's opens. You can set up your products in Omne ahead of time, then move across one job at a time. Contact support if you want to know where a specific part stands.
Omne is in private beta, and plans can change before the beta opens.
