Library

Follow RSS feeds in the Library

Add a blog, newsletter or publication by its address and its new posts land in your Library as links. Includes bringing a whole feed reader over.

Add a feed once and Omne checks it every hour, saving each new post as a link you can read in the Library.

Add a feed

Follow a feed0/3

If you don't know the feed's address, paste the site's homepage. Omne looks at the page for the feed it names and tries the usual places, and tells you if there isn't one.

What comes in

The first read brings the latest 20 posts, not the whole archive. After that, every post it hasn't seen before is added. Each is a link item, so it has its title and readable text, and you will find it under Links and in the Reading list. Each feed shows how many posts it has brought in and when it last synced.

Check now and remove

Check now reads the feed straight away instead of waiting for the hour. Remove stops following it. Posts already in the Library stay.

Bring a whole feed reader over

The Feedly card takes the export file of any feed reader. In Feedly, open feedly.com/i/opml to download it, then press Upload your export and choose the file. Every feed in it becomes one of your RSS feeds, up to 500 at a time, and a message tells you how many were added.
