Export your workspace

How to download a zip of your Omne workspace, what it contains and what it leaves out.

Open Settings, then Workspace, scroll to Export and click Export workspace. Your browser downloads a zip file.

What is in the zip

  • A library folder with your docs and cards as Markdown files. Each file starts with the title, kind, source address, tags and created date.
  • links.csv, a spreadsheet of your saved links with their title, address, tags and saved date.
  • posts.csv, a spreadsheet of your posts with platform, status, title, address and created date.
  • highlights.md, your highlights as quotes, with their source.

The file is named after your handle and the date, for example your-handle-export-2026-11-03.zip.

What it leaves out

Your Store data is not in the export today: products, customers, subscribers and orders. Files you uploaded and connected-account details are not in it either. If you need those, contact support.

Who can export

Anyone who is a member of the workspace can reach the screen. The export covers the whole workspace.

Why export

Before you delete a workspace, before a plan change, or to keep your own backup. Do it before deleting a workspace.

Your right to your data

The privacy policy says you can view, change, export or delete your content and account in Omne, or ask for it. For a copy of the personal data Omne holds about you as an account holder, write through contact support. Omne answers within 30 days.
