Post a video to TikTok

What the panel shows

After you connect TikTok through its own sign-in, the panel shows the account's profile, its numbers and its latest videos. The posting form follows TikTok's rules for apps that post. It reads the account's options fresh each time it opens and shows the account's nickname. If TikTok says the account can't post right now, the form doesn't open.

• You choose who can see the video, with nothing picked until you pick
• Comments, duets and stitches all start off, and any the account has turned off in TikTok are greyed out
• Disclose video content starts off. Turned on, it asks whether the video promotes your own business, another brand or both, and tells you the label TikTok will add. Branded content can't be private
• TikTok's consent line sits above the button, and nothing is sent until you press it
• The video is shown before it posts, and checked against the longest length your account allows. TikTok accepts MP4, MOV or WebM files up to 4 GB

After you press post
