How connecting accounts and services works in Omne
Settings, then Integrations, lists more than 240 services. Each connects through its own sign-in, an API key, an MCP server or the browser extension.
You connect accounts and services in Settings, under Integrations. The page lists more than 240 services, and each one signs in on its own page or takes a key you paste, so Omne never asks for your password to another service.
Where to find it
Open Settings from your account menu and choose Integrations in the Connections group. The page opens with three tabs: Connected, All and Coming soon. A search box, Search integrations, and filters sit above the list.
- Publish to groups the accounts Omne posts to: Social, Video, Blogs, Email and newsletters, Messaging and communities, Schedulers and Ads.
- Work with groups the tools Omne reads from and acts in: Docs and notes, Projects and tasks, Code, Meeting notes, Email and calendar, Scheduling, Stores and payments, Google, Analytics, Creative, Research and more.
- Connects through filters by the way in: Native, MCP/CLI or Browser extension.
- Sort by offers Most used, Recently connected, Most accounts, and Name from A to Z or Z to A.
Services you have not connected yet appear under All, with the most used at the top.
Connect a service
- Open the service's card. A panel slides in with what Omne can do with it.
- Choose Connect followed by the service's name.
- Depending on the service, a window opens on its own sign-in, or the panel shows a field for a key or a short question first.
- Approve Omne on the service's page. The window closes and the account appears under Accounts in the panel.
To add a second account of the same service, open the card and choose Connect another account. The panel for each service also lists, under Details, how it connects, what it asks for and where to take Omne's access away on the service's side.
The four ways in
- What happens
- Omne built the connection. It uses the service's sign-in, or a key or other details you paste.
- Examples
- X, Pinterest, YouTube, Bluesky, Mastodon
- What happens
- The service's own MCP server signs you in. Omne registers itself with the server and you approve it.
- Examples
- Granola, Wispr Flow, Linear, Notion
- What happens
- You paste a key from the service's settings and Omne checks it with the service first.
- Examples
- Hashnode, MailerLite, Resend
- What happens
- For sites with no way in for apps, Omne's Chrome extension uses your own signed-in session.
- Examples
- Skool, Medium
Details of each are in Connect with an API key, Connect through an MCP server and Connect with the browser extension.
What happens to what you connect
Omne seals the token or key on its servers and sends it back to your browser never. It uses it only where a feature calls for it, such as a service's own panel or Ask AI. Disconnecting revokes access at the service where it can, and removes what Omne fetched. See Disconnect or reconnect an account.
What works today
A card can be listed and connect, yet not have been tried with a real account. Omne keeps a record of what has been proven. Read What works today and what does not before relying on a service.
Where connected accounts are used
- Ask AI can use the accounts that bring tools. See Use your connected accounts in a chat.
- Each service's own panel can show its data or let you act on it.
- Connecting an account does not copy everything in it into Omne.
Only on the live address
A few services accept only Omne's live address for sign-in, so their card says Connects on app.omne.so. If you use the app at https://app.omne.so, you will not notice.
