Getting started with Omne
A first session in Omne that visits Home, Discover, lists, the Library and Analytics once, in an order that makes each step useful for the next.
The quickest way to learn Omne is one short session that touches the parts you will use most. This one takes about fifteen minutes and starts from an empty workspace.
If you have not signed in yet, begin with Set up your workspace.
1. Look at Home
Home is where a workspace opens, with a greeting at the top. Its four start buttons are Capture (jot a quick thought or note), Document (write something longer), Ask AI (think something through) and Table (track anything in rows). Below them are sections for this week's plan, your posting streak, recent items, your reading, the last 30 days of Analytics, sales, your lists and upcoming calls. A section stays out of the way until it has something to show, so a new workspace looks sparse on purpose.
2. Find what is working in Discover
Open Discover under Research in the sidebar. It lists public posts from many platforms, newest first, with a count at the top such as how many posts match out of all of them.
- Click Viral now in the row above the posts. It shows this week's posts that beat their creator's usual, best first.
- Click a post to open it. You see its words, its numbers and how far it went past its creator's usual.
- Press the same quick view again to clear it.
What Discover is and how to read it explains the cards, and How to use the filter covers everything else you can narrow by.
3. Add a creator to a list
Open Creators from the tabs at the top of Discover and look through the creators Discover follows. If you are an owner or admin, each creator has an Add to list button that puts them in a list, with New list to make one, and you can paste a creator's profile link into the search box and choose Add to bring in someone Discover does not have yet. Other members can browse and search but not change lists. See Create a list and Add a creator or a brand.
4. Put your own material in the Library
Open Library under Create. It holds documents, notes, links, saved posts, highlights and boards in one searchable place. Start a Document from Home to write one, or use the Omne browser extension to save a post as you read it.
5. Check Analytics
Open Analytics under Grow. If you are an owner or admin and an account is connected, it shows that account's numbers by day. With nothing connected it says No numbers yet. and waits. Read your analytics explains what each part shows.
6. Ask AI a question
Ask AI runs on an AI provider that you connect yourself, so it needs one set-up step in Settings first. See Ask AI for that.
What to do next
Come back to Discover each time you plan content. Add the creators in your niche to a list, look at their breakouts, and keep the posts that give you an idea. What is open today lists what you can rely on now and what is still on the way.
