How email works in Omne
What Omne's email tools are, what you can set up today, and what stays a draft until sending opens.
SoonThis part of Omne isn't open yet. This page says what's planned, and it can still change.
Omne's email tools let you keep a list of subscribers, write one-off emails, run a newsletter and set up emails that go out by themselves. You can write and save all of it today. Sending is not switched on yet, so nothing you write leaves Omne until it opens.
Where to find it
Email lives in your workspace's Store area. In the sidebar, open the Email group. It has seven pages: Broadcasts, Newsletter, Sequences, Deadline offers, Automations, Signup forms and Settings. Your list itself is under Audience, on the Subscribers page.
What each page is for
| Page | What it holds |
|---|---|
| Subscribers | Everyone on your list, with their tags, status and where they came from. |
| Signup forms | The forms people use to join the list. |
| Broadcasts | One-off emails to the whole list or to some tags. |
| Newsletter | Each issue of a newsletter. |
| Sequences | Emails that follow each other on a schedule you set. |
| Deadline offers | A discount on each person's own countdown, with emails leading up to the end. |
| Automations | "When this happens, do that" rules. |
| Settings | Who your emails come from and what every email ends with. |
What works today
You can add subscribers by hand, edit their tags and mark someone as unsubscribed. You can save drafts of broadcasts and newsletter issues, build sequences and deadline offers, define automations, create signup forms and fill in your sender settings. Everything is stored in your workspace and you can change it whenever you like.
What is not switched on yet
The buttons that would send or start something carry a Coming soon label: Send, Publish, Schedule, Turn on, Embed code, Import and Verify a domain. Until sending opens, broadcasts and issues stay as drafts, sequences and automations do not run, and no subscriber receives anything. Omne does not count contacts or sends yet either.
Which plans include it
The plan is that email comes with every paid plan and not with Free. Broadcasts and newsletters are in Creator and above. Sequences and automations start at Pro. See Contacts and sends for the limits and Omne plans compared for the full table. Nobody is charged during the private beta.
Start with your sender details Fill in the Settings page first. It takes a minute and every email you write later uses it. See Email settings.
