Rename a workspace and change its handle

Name

Edit Workspace name. It saves when you leave the field, and "Saved" appears under it. A name needs at least one character, up to 80. Everyone in the workspace sees the change straight away.

Picture

Click the picture, which carries a small camera icon, and choose a JPEG, PNG, WebP or GIF under 5 MB. Until you add one, the owner's photo stands in. Omne resizes the picture in your browser before saving it.

Handle

The handle is the workspace's address, /w/ followed by the handle, and it is used in links to your public boards. Type a new one in Handle. Omne checks as you type:

• "Checking…" while it looks.
• "Free. Saving it moves the workspace to its new address." when it can be used. Click Save.
• "Another workspace has it." when it is taken.
• "Lowercase letters, digits and dashes, 1 to 48." when the shape is wrong.
• "That word is the app's own." for reserved words such as admin, settings, billing and support.

After you save, Omne opens the workspace at the new address with Settings still open. Links that use the old handle stop pointing to it.

Public pages

The Public pages card on the same screen sets the Logo and the Accent colour of pages you share. Hide "Made with omne" shows Coming soon and is planned for paid plans.

IDs

Workspace ID, with a copy button, is what support or the API may ask for.
