How to claim or change your store handle
Your handle is your store's address, omne.store followed by your name. Choose 1 to 32 lowercase letters, digits and dashes, and change it later if you need to.
Your handle is the end of your store's address, as in omne.store/your-name. You claim it once, and then nobody else can take it. The public page at that address isn't live yet, but the name is yours to reserve now.
Claim it
- Open Store, then Storefront.
- Scroll to Your address. The Handle row asks for a handle if you have none.
- Type it after the omne.store/ prefix.
- Click Claim.
A handle is 1 to 32 lowercase letters, digits and dashes, and it can't start or end with a dash. If you type anything else, Omne says so and keeps your entry. If the handle is taken, or is kept for the app, Omne says so and you try another.
You can also reach this from the checklist on your store Home, where step two is Claim your handle.
Change it
Click Change on the Handle row, type the new handle, and click Save. Changing it frees the old one for anyone to claim, so people who already have your old address may land somewhere that is no longer yours. Click Cancel to keep the current one.
Your handle and short links
Short links use a separate link name, because a short link address is omne.to followed by a name and a word. You pick the link name on the Links page, and it doesn't have to match your store handle. See pick your link name.
Your own domain
A store on a domain you own, such as shop.yourname.com, is marked as coming soon on the Storefront page. The pricing page lists it for Pro, Max and Team.

There's a real person behind Omne, so ask anything.
